If you’ve never been to a workshop with a visiting teacher, it can sometimes feel like that moment when Baby walked in to the dance hall carrying two watermelons; everyone dancing as if they anticipated the beat and looking like they were meant to be there. You on the other hand feel like you’re sticking out like a sore thumb so much that you might as well be carrying watermelons!

Well there’s no Dirty Dancing at Studio One!

Believe me, I’ve been Baby, visiting London studios can be a lot like that; which is why we make an effort to bring some of the most down to earth world-renowned yoga teachers who can connect with our Northern community on a personal level.

This weekend we’ve been spoiled in that way..…Faith Hunter showed up all soul and Louisiana charm and….well, charmed the pants off everyone! The studio was a hive of energy and positivity and it was a pleasure to witness; if you missed out then I urge you to try a workshop in the future.

P.S. We already KNOW Faith is returning next year so keep an eye out for future dates

If you’re still unsure here are a few personal notes from the students and teachers that came along this weekend…

So grateful to this beautiful soul for the inspiring, thought provoking workshops this weekend at Studio One…we all need a bit of Faith in our lives
— Emma King, Newton-le-Willows

— Alison Gough, Preston

I’ve meditated every day since the workshop on Saturday and I’m loving it! I’ve been listening to Faith’s online stuff and using it as a guide. So fantastic
— Sharon Tsang, Leyland

I just wanted to drop you a line to Thank you so much for a truly unforgettable weekend. Your studio is the most beautiful space, filled with the most amazing people. I have been many places, but I have never experienced such friendliness and I felt very much part of the group and I have made true friends. I hope I get the opportunity to go and visit you again.
— Cathy Healy, Co. Kerry, Ireland
