If you’ve never been to a workshop with a visiting teacher, it can sometimes feel like that moment when Baby walked in to the dance hall carrying two watermelons; everyone dancing as if they anticipated the beat and looking like they were meant to be there. You on the other hand feel like you’re sticking out like a sore thumb so much that you might as well be carrying watermelons!
Well there’s no Dirty Dancing at Studio One!
Believe me, I’ve been Baby, visiting London studios can be a lot like that; which is why we make an effort to bring some of the most down to earth world-renowned yoga teachers who can connect with our Northern community on a personal level.
This weekend we’ve been spoiled in that way..…Faith Hunter showed up all soul and Louisiana charm and….well, charmed the pants off everyone! The studio was a hive of energy and positivity and it was a pleasure to witness; if you missed out then I urge you to try a workshop in the future.
P.S. We already KNOW Faith is returning next year so keep an eye out for future dates
If you’re still unsure here are a few personal notes from the students and teachers that came along this weekend…
A huge thanks to Faith for making our students feel AWESOME and for filling our teacher trainees with inspiration in spades!
If you’re looking to practice with Faith a little more then head to YouTube and find all of her offerings here
Or for a quick taster…
Next up on our schedule is Jason Crandell…there are only a few spaces left on one of the workshops! The rest are full ☹
Keep an eye out for the rest of 2019 as we add to the offering…
