My name is Emma and I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2003.

Since then I have worked in NHS and private hospitals, both on the wards and in outpatient clinics, plus I have also worked in a private Physiotherapy practice.

My years of experience have provided me with the skills and experience to start Kinetics Physiotherapy and I opened the doors at Studio One in Leyland at the start of February this year.

I offer a full assessment and treatment of a wide range of conditions, including back / neck pain, joint problems and muscular injuries. So whether your problem is work related, a sports injury or just a long standing 'niggle' there is a variety of treatments, including manual therapy, acupuncture, electrotherapy, soft tissue massage and Pilates, that can be used to help you return to your chosen activities.

I also specialise in Vestibular Rehabilitation, which is treatment for patients who are suffering with dizziness and vertigo.

Over the last couple of years I have become a certified instructor of Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention with the Tai Chi for Health Institute and I have also trained to teach Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. I offer 1:1 sessions for both Tai Chi and Pilates at the moment and I am looking forward to starting classes in the near future.

My aim is to provide affordable Physiotherapy to the local community so you will find my prices are lower than other local Physiotherapy practices. The lower prices certainly do not mean you will receive a lesser quality treatment; lower overheads are just simply passed to patients making private Physiotherapy more accessible.

If you would like any further information or advice then please do not hesitate to contact me on 07773336628, visit or, when you are down at Studio One, come and say hello!
